MakeItGood Exclusive Mix: Jim Raygun
This week at MakeItGood we’ve been lucky enough to be treated to another top quality mix, this time from DJ, producer, MC and all-round bass aficionado Jim Raygun.
Co-founder of Wobble Squad, Jim now helps promote DubPressure events as well as holding down a weekly radio show.
Jim has played all over the world including Outlook Festival, sharing bills with some of the game’s biggest players such as Plastician, Brackles, Dorian Concept, Funtcase and Pariah.
With plenty of plans for releases this year, including a remix for Naïve Machine’s ‘Afrika’ (forthcoming Hit and Hope Records), 2011 is set to be an exciting year for Jim Raygun.
For his mix, Jim takes the freshest house, funky, grime and dubstep and blends them effortlessly, showcasing the current state of the UK bass music scene. From smooth, vocal house, to heavy-hitting grime joints, the mix caters for a wide range of sound palettes - a tribute to Jim’s knowledge for all things bass.
